Katy Brough,
M.Ed, BCBA, LBA
Katy is the owner and founder of Thrive Behavioral Consulting. Katy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Special Education from Baylor University and a Masters degree in Special Education with a post-graduate certification in Autism Interventions from the University of North Texas.
In addition to her Board Certification, Katy also has over 20 years experience working with individuals of all ages with autism and other developmental delays. Prior to opening Thrive Behavioral Consulting, Katy served as an in-home director for two clinics, a behavioral interventionist for an independent school district and as certified classroom special education teacher. In addition to her passion for partnering with families through their journey, Katy enjoys training and supervising the next generation of BCBA’s committed to providing the highest quality ABA services.
Katy believes every child is a unique and gifted and enjoys partnering with families to build strong foundations for bright futures. In her downtime, Katy enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband.
Hannelore Torey Lewis,
M.S, BCBA, LBA
Torey received her graduate degree at Texas Tech University in 2013. In addition to receiving her Masters in Special Education, Torey also obtained post graduate certificates in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Autism, and Transition Services.
As a mother of children with ASD, Torey became passionate about pursuing her BCBA in order to provide the best possible support to her children. While obtaining her field experience, she fell in love with the field and with the incredible clients that touched her life.
Torey has worked with children in all stages – from toddler to teens – and enjoys the challenges and successes that come with each case. With experience in everything from feeding clinics, potty training, sleep interventions, and parent training, Torey is ready and excited to walk each individual journey with our families. In addition to working with clients, Torey has mentored and trained many current and future BCBAs as she seeks to help provide more services for families.
